Privacy Policy
Effective October 7, 2026
AllaKore LTDA ("Frame Forge", "we", "us") builds Frame Forge, a desktop app for Windows and macOS, and the website you are reading this on. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use either, why, and what rights you have over it. It applies to everyone who visits this site or signs in to the app, wherever they are.
Data we collect
We do not have a password of yours to lose: sign-in is handled entirely by Google, Apple or Microsoft. When you sign in, the provider you chose shares your name and email address with us (Google also shares your profile picture), which we store against your account.
We keep basic session metadata for every device you sign in on: its user agent, and when the session was created and last used, so you can see and revoke it from your account page. When you buy Frame Forge or start a trial, we keep the trial dates and, for a purchase, its amount, currency and status, together with the identifiers of whichever payment system processed it: the Stripe checkout and payment identifiers for a purchase made on this site, or the App Store transaction identifiers Apple hands us for a purchase made through the Mac App Store. We never see or store your card number, expiry date or CVC either way; that data lives with Stripe or with Apple's own In-App Purchase system, never with us.
The desktop app sends us usage and diagnostic data through Google Analytics: the app version, your operating system and its version, your graphics card, the language you chose, which frame generation settings you use and change, how long a frame generation session ran and the frame rates it reached, and whether steps such as signing in, starting a trial, a purchase or an update succeeded or failed. It is tied to a random identifier the app creates on your machine, never to your account, your name or your email address, and Google receives your machine's IP address in sending it, as it does with any request it answers.
This website uses Google Analytics too, to see how visitors use it, but only within the choice you make in the cookie banner. Until you accept, no analytics cookie is stored on your device, and Google Analytics receives at most limited measurements that carry no cookie.
What we do not collect
Frame Forge generates frames by reading what is already on your screen and rendering new ones in real time, entirely on your own machine. None of that, including anything resembling a screenshot, screen recording or game footage, is ever uploaded, streamed or otherwise sent to us or to anyone else.
Neither the app nor this website uses advertising, sells your data or tracks you across other sites or apps.
Why we process your data, and on what basis
We process the data above to let you sign in, keep track of your licence and trial, process your payment through Stripe, and keep your account secure (for example, letting you review and revoke sessions on devices you no longer use). We use the app's usage and diagnostic data to find out which hardware and settings Frame Forge runs on, to find and fix failures, and to decide what to improve; we use the website's analytics to understand how visitors find and use it.
Where the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD) applies, this processing rests on the performance of a contract with you and our legitimate interest in running the service securely; where the EU/UK GDPR or a similar law applies, the same processing rests on the equivalent legal bases under that law. The app's usage and diagnostic data rests on our legitimate interest in keeping the app working and improving it, and the website's analytics cookie on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
We share only what each of the following needs to do its job: Google, Apple or Microsoft, whichever you chose to sign in with; Stripe, to process a purchase made on this site and tell us when it succeeded; and, for a purchase made through the Mac App Store, Apple's own In-App Purchase and App Store Server API, to verify it and tell us when it is refunded; and Google Analytics, which receives the usage and diagnostic data described above. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own advertising purposes.
Google, Apple, Microsoft and Stripe are all outside Brazil, so sending them the data above is an international transfer under the LGPD. We rely on the standard contractual clauses approved by Brazil's data protection authority (ANPD) under its International Data Transfer Regulation (Resolução CD/ANPD nº 19/2024), incorporated into each provider's own agreement with us, or on another mechanism the ANPD recognizes as giving the data the same protection the LGPD would.
How long we keep it, and how to delete it
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from your account page; doing so permanently erases your profile, your sessions, your trial record and your purchase record, right away and without a way to undo it.
Usage and diagnostic data, and the website's analytics, are kept in Google Analytics at the level of individual events for no longer than 14 months; after that only aggregated reports remain, which identify no one. Because this data is not linked to your account, deleting your account does not reach it; to have it erased, write to us.
The one exception: to stop the free trial from being claimed over and over by deleting and recreating an account, we keep a one-way cryptographic fingerprint of the identity that started a trial (derived from your Google, Apple or Microsoft account and your email) after the account itself is deleted. This fingerprint cannot be reversed back into your email or account details, is used for no other purpose, and only ever answers one question: has this identity already used a free trial. We keep it on the basis of our legitimate interest in preventing abuse of the trial.
Your rights
Under the LGPD, the GDPR and similar laws, you can ask us to confirm what data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy of it, or withdraw a consent you previously gave. Most of this you can already do yourself from your account page; for anything else, write to [email protected] and we will respond within the time the applicable law requires.
Cookies
This site sets a cookie holding a session token that proves you are signed in. It is strictly necessary for the site to work, so it is set regardless of any cookie preference, the same way logging into any account-based site requires one.
If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, Google Analytics also sets its own cookies to tell visits apart. If you decline, it sets none. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage; clearing it brings the banner back, so you can change your mind at any time.
Children
Frame Forge is not directed at, and may not be used by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.
Security
Your session is carried by a cookie marked HttpOnly and Secure, so it is invisible to page scripts and only ever sent over an encrypted connection. We never store a password, so there is no password of yours to be exposed in the first place.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the effective date above and, where the change is significant, let you know through the site or your account.
